Description
Calm-Zen is a liquid tincture of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), a fragrant, lemony member of the mint family grown in European monastery gardens since the Middle Ages to lift the spirits and calm the nerves. It is traditionally used to help relieve nervous tension, restlessness and mild everyday anxiety, support a calm mood, and ease a stress-related “nervous tummy”. Gentle enough for daytime use, it can also be taken in the evening to unwind. It is standardised to a 1:3 strength with 45% alcohol. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding; it may cause drowsiness, so check with your healthcare practitioner if you take sedatives or thyroid medication.
