Description
Echina-Blend combines the roots of two echinacea species, Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea angustifolia, the purple coneflowers of the North American prairies. It is traditionally used to support the immune system and to help relieve the symptoms of colds and minor upper respiratory tract infections, ideally taken at the first sign of a sniffle. Blending the two species gives a broad extract, and a gentle tingle on the tongue is a natural sign of quality echinacea root. It is standardised to a 1:3 strength with 45% alcohol. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to the daisy family; check with your healthcare practitioner if you have an autoimmune condition.
