Description
Oliv-Guard is a liquid tincture of olive leaf (Olea europaea), from the tree that has symbolised health across the Mediterranean for thousands of years. It is traditionally used to support the immune system and the body’s natural defences, especially during the change of seasons, and to support cardiovascular health and healthy circulation. Olive leaf is rich in natural polyphenols, especially oleuropein, which gives it a pleasantly bitter taste; mixing it with juice helps. It is standardised to a 1:3 strength with 45% alcohol. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding; olive leaf may lower blood pressure and blood sugar, so check with your healthcare practitioner if you take medicine for either.
